I have been to this hospital 5+ times, I'm finally leaving a review. although my nurse was sweet, the treating physician at the time, both treated me like they were confused as to why i was at the hospital. and yet clearly i displaying withdrawals symptoms from meds. i tell them this; they say "i've never heard of that" give me a GATORADE (i have reflux, this makes things worse) and sent me home. I ended up going back a second time, actually getting nausea meds + saline this time, because y'know, I can't eat a single thing, for days at that point. I'm still healing as we speak. and ykno what? i decided i'll always drive an extra 10+ minutes to get the actual healthcare i need. this place feels like a hospital built by dollar tree and the education of the doctors is highly limited. they are willfully ignorant or immensely overworked; whichever the case, it's not my fault, and i came in for help and did not receive it. I felt disregarded, like I wasted my time because I went home feeling the same way I went in. I ended up going to Shands. They listened to me and actually treated me. Normandy ER is not worth the visit, especially if you value bedside manner

We went overnight and we had the best experience, Staff we had was super nice to us, Nurse Jeann and Julie were nice to us, Dr Freeth was really well spoken and super nice, asked A LOT of questions to get to the bottom of the issue and was super caring, he actually listened unlike Baptist Medical. Unsure how day staff are but overnight Doc/Nurse are wonderful!

Do not go here! My husband went for chest pains and they didn’t run any kind of tests, and they even said “we usually do more for chest pains but since you’re so young we aren’t going to”. All the doctor did was push on his chest and say he was fine.
