I’ve been to this salon many times n never have any complaints. The other day I was charged 60 for two braids which I spoke up on at that. Then when i get home the results of when it dried look bad. I go back with the hair style to show them the results the next day. The lady who did it asked me what’s wrong I said you charged me 60 for this and I rather do the hair style we talked about yesterday I don’t like the two braids. She charged me 120 for a style I showed pictures of while on chair . Now I’m in the chair it’s 200 so I was like never mind. They negotiate 150 with me ok. I go to get my hair done. Then the experience while I’m on the chair was ridiculous. She washes my hair and braids a couple hair in the back and then tells me she can’t do it and kept giving me 15 dollars difference from the previous day. I said I don’t want it I just want my hair done. Now mind you I’m in the chair you took my hair out and you washed it. Then say you can’t do it. I didn’t move out the chair I said I’m not leaving until my hair is done. This is the worse experience I had. My hair eventually got done but my experience in here lately has been horrible. And there were other customers there witnessing this at that. I just feel like I been taken advantage of my money n time. Prices need to be shown because I had to keep telling her you guys normally charge me 40 for two braids. 5 extra if I want it longer. I do not like wasting my money or my time. I wish I had a better experience.

Tried to get my own hair braided with zig zag part but she said no she can only braid straight back. I showed her a picture and told her that’s what I wanted straight back braids with zig zag parts she said she couldn’t do it for the price I said ok. I’m not worried. She said $60. I said ok.she proceeded to do something completely different. I told her that’s not what I was wanting she said wel I can’t do it. And sat down. NEVER AGAIN.

This place is just ok. Making an appt never seems to matter. I had a 9am appt for Senegalese twists. i got there at 8:50. There were 3 braiders already there, just starting on clients. I had to wait 40 minutes because the person doing my hair wasnt even there! They had to call her to come in. Then when she finally got there, i had to wait longer for her to warm her breakfast, clear her station and then chit chat in French with the other stylists. There is a "receptionist" now who is supposed to be in charge of booking but she sits in that back room all day more worried about making sure the TV is working than she is in getting ppl seated and properly scheduled. I dont think i'll be going back.

I got 10 cornrows with extensions for $110. I thought pricey, but braiders are pleasant, quick and take walkins like me
