Blue Heron Campground and Resort

The Blue Heron Campground is such a great place to go camping! Everyone was very nice and the view of the White River is so beautiful! We went fishing and caught a handful of fish. Michael answered the phone every time we called. He was very nice and was very helpful.The campground is well maintained, the laundry room and bathrooms are spotless. I would definitely recommend! We will definitely be coming back to the Blue Heron Campground!

What a great experience! When I arrived, I was led to my campsite by Mark. He made sure I had everything I needed before leaving my site. My pull-thru site had new gravel and a lighted power pole. The water pressure at the site was great. No fire pit available for my site at the time of my visit, but they are ordered. The new camground owners hosted a free BBQ for the campers on the night I arrived. The food was great and the scenery while eating my burger with sweet tea was spectacular. I highly recommend this camground.

We had a great time. The grounds were very well-kept. The riverfront cabin offered a perfect weekend getaway for myself, my husband, and two teenage boys. Mike was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to anything. I would definitely recommend Blue Heron if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing, and peaceful getaway right on the river!

Blue Heron was not our fist choice but they were the first to return my phone call. I knew nothing about this place before I rolled up with my family. The owner Terry is awesome!! Very accommodating to new guests. There are a number of restrictions around pets but I will say, this was the most quiet and the most well kept campground I have ever been to. This place is a gem and I will make it a point to come back as much as I can!
