What a wonderful experience! We came on a weekday and booked tickets ahead of time and the security screening was very fast. The ferry ride was great with amazing views. Spent about 1:20 on Ellis Island and could have spent another 40 minutes to see most of the museum. Over to the Statue of Liberty and we were able to go straight up to the pedestal. The views were incredible! Spent about 1:20 on Liberty Island but didn’t get to see all of the newer museum. Couldn’t access the ferry schedule online (link wasn’t working), but the ferries are every 40 - 45min from the state park and the islands. Parking for ~5 hours was $7.

They charge you ~ 23 for ride add 90 cents for pedestal if you want to go up to statue pedestal. Kids between 4-12 have a reduced rate .
U can purchase tickets when you get there or try calling the customer service number

We followed signs to the ferry... ended up parking in a huge parking lot next to some boats, and an old train station...it wasnt a far walk from there to the ferry ticket booth.
tickets are not specific to time..you can always take the next one just make sure u r not missing the last one 😄
I printed ours out , not sure how strict they are on this
