Yes, the station is fully accessible with elevators. Take note that there are *two* elevator entrances. If you want the elevator to the platform, you must use the elevator at 55th St. The elevator at 57th street goes to the ticket hall level only, with no elevators to the platforms.
From JFK. Airport you will take the Airtrain then the LIRR to 34th street then walk the mezziane to 34th and 6th the uptown N train get off at 57th street
Downtown trains. Best bets are the Q or N, which are express.
Tickets are available at the vending machine accepting cash or creditcard at the station.
At the subway station?
Yes, except there is no elevator service to the platforms.
You are asking this question on the 57 St Subway location which is odd. But from Hotel Edison, walk to the 49 St Station, catch the N, R or W train to 34th St - Herald Sq station and you will see Macy's.
