Heidi's Ugly Cakes is a charming small cafe with a make-yourself-at-home atmosphere. We had the Reuben with a side of potato salad and the Wilbur with chips, both of which were served on jalapeno cornbread with a pickle on the side. Our sandwiches were delicious! The Wilbur was loaded with flavor from the fried ham, bacon, grilled onions, and spicy mustard. The owner, Heidi, was busy making her homemade fried pies and couldn't have been nicer! The peanut butter pie was amazing, and we took some fried pies to go. What a find!

Awesome desserts, but incredibly good cinnamon rolls. The size of a small plate, they weight about 3/4 a pound. And they reheat well. We bought 7 to go when we left town!
