I've been trying since Jan to get an EIN- I keep getting ref 101 number- so far the IRS is useless and stopping me from starting my own business. I've sent hard copy request for EIN in Jan- and have zero back... what do I have to do to get a living person to talk to about it? idk...and they don't either. USELESS.

This phone number is for the main IRS number where you get zero assistance. After spending 15 minutes going through all the prompts it just hangs up on you. For the amount of money we pay in taxes, and all the people in this country that need jobs, you could at least have enough staff to accept our tax payments. As citizens we get no help but are expected to pay our taxes on time or we’re penalized. I guess our government is actually just a big scam.

Closes at 12:30!? Wow! Don’t work to hard there guys. Why don’t they do their jobs? This agency is an embarrassment. Pop your heads out and send us our return and stimulus money that we have worked hard for and earned at real jobs. Then you can go back to doing Jack box nothing the rest of the year until you justify your crooked existence again in February.
