I would give this place a zero for the lack care to my autistic son. He had 2 black eyes when I visited him and wouldn't allow us to have our phone. Afraid of us taking his photo. Then, he had a bad reaction to the meds and had a high fever that caused a seizure. Thank God CHOP rescued him! Unfortunately, this is one of a few places that allow autistic children. Avoid if possible

I’m not sure what foundation’s is like now, but I was a patient there in inpatient 2012 and 2016 it was okay I didn’t like most of the staff but we did have fun groups and I met a few good friends there that I’m still friends with till this day! and in the residential 2015 to 2016 and I loved it there the staff were very nice to me and we did lots of fun activities and we got to play outside a lot almost everyday in the summer time and we’d go behind the building sometimes to the creek and find toads! They let us watch tv in the group rooms on Netflix the food was okay in my opinion, The school (lifeworks) that I went to had VERY nice teachers! And there were some staff that were bad and would pinch me in restraints and taunt me to fight other peers and stir up problems between me and peers but for the most part everyone was nice and my therapist was very helpful overall foundation’s has helped me a lot and I want to thank the staff who I grew close to that helped me a lot too, im doing so much better because of them! And I also made a lot of friends there that I’m also still friends with today!! I’m giving this place three stars, even though my rating may not matter due to the fact all those staff and therapist are probably gone* and Im giving three stars because even though they helped me a lot there were still some flaws that could’ve been worked on! This review is just me saying Thankyou!

For those of who've rated 5 stars, it seems you've managed and persevered; for those who've rated it 1 star, without a doubt!

Yes, Mostly autistic children
When my son was there I was able to call and get a report of my son's day any day at any hour. He was able to call us once he was stable. He used to call us in the evening. My son is seriously autistic and non verbal so the call was not traditional but I was able to hear his voice. It was very touching. He left our home so angry and frustrated and returned much more calm and mature. His time there was not traumatic for him. It was very helpful.
