My daughter is there and trying to speak to someone is impossible. Just want to put money on her account .I know she is there and when I finally spoke to someone and they tell me they can't confirm or deny she is there. I tell them I know she is there, no help on my end . I spent countless hours trying to reach someone, left numerous messages and "NO" return calls. I pray for the people that are in there. I pray to God these patients are being treated better then how I am being treated.

Fantastic detox unit. Came in to get off Morphine and clonazapam. Five days. Food was good, beds not so much. Adequate smoke breaks, though it was good to come home and smoke when I wanted to. Staff was fantastic. Always had something going. Only boring if you choose it to be.

I walked into Pyramid with the support of my family, willingly. My experience was excellent however, I was there for detox only, and my only reason for giving them 4 stars is due to not being assigned a counselor until your 5-7 day detox is over. In my opinion a one time meeting with a counselor once you’re out of bed and working on recovery is necessary. It would benefit the community by limiting war stories, and create a more positive environment since most in detox do not attend groups or meetings. I was not one of those people. I chose not to sleep, pick myself up, and go to every group and meeting possible. The techs, and ladies in my community are the reason my experience was so good. I was welcomed with open arms, given direction through nurses, technicians, PAs, and case workers. The food was good (all things considered), men are in a separate community, and it is nothing like “Girl Interrupted” as so many have asked. Go. Let them help you because they will. 5 stars if you’re able to have an even one time counselor session. Thank you, Pyramid!
