My mom got cellulitis infection in her leg from a stay here!! She was in a car accident she was in the hospital around 5 days did not get washed, didn't get her legs washed, her arms washed, her hands washed the whole time she was there. She got infected with cellulitis from the leg compression. They put this on your legs to prevent blood clots!!!! It gets tighter and looser it inflates with air and it's wrapped around your leg. No covering for this leg compression device it's just skin to plastic contact no barriers. I see a Geisinger replied to my post my mom will not contact geisinger. To solved the problem GEISINGER HOSPITAL have this leg compression device thoroughly cleaned after each patient use. Use a protective cloth throw away barrier with this device. Problem solved!

Staff mimics and flips off patients waiting with chest pains, sweating, shortness of breath along with other signs of a heart attack. Allows other "patients" to spray perfume in the e.r waiting area. When leaving after the flipping off of my friend we went to another hospital. This hospital should be shut down and the staff blacklisted from working in the health care field. I never thought i would deal with a worse hospital then new jersey state hospital, who gave my grandfather MERSA and bed soars from not changing his bed sheets (to the point a hole formed all the way down to his tailbone). But geisinger was able to take that crown.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I took my friend here because she was having such bad pains she could not sit up let alone walk properly. She had shoulder pain and left sided chest pain. She was asked to sit in the emergency room where she waited in agony until I tech came out ( black scrub uniform). She was asked again for her insurance information after it was given already. My friend asked to be wheeled in where the tech not only gave her an attitude, but told her “she was trying her.” Naturally, my friend being in a high amount of pain got upset and the tech walked away and mocked her through the glass. We ended up leaving and going to another hospital. On the way out, the tech flipped her off through the window of the check in and insulted her. I have worked at other hospitals I know protocol, this is down right embarrassing. There is not only no compassion but absolutely no professionalism enforced at this place. I will never ever ever go back here. Shame on you all.

No they don't I was in a homeless shelter and fell on the ice in the street had to wait for someone to pick me up off the street went there had no way to get back before 11 when the shelter closed and they would not give me a voucher they said because too many people misused them I fought them about it because I just fell and hurt myself so bad I couldn't even walk I would have to walk with a cane or a walker to the homeless shelter so they did get someone to pay for it but they don't do it anymore this was in February
You have to park your car and then go in. And ask at the reception desk. In the main entrance.
it's definitely worth calling them to see!!
You can look for available positions online. It does inform you of the pay scale
Let the nurse or doctor be aware of the situation.
Ha good luck!! get a family doctor they can prescribe mostly any meds including Adderall
Hey Linda! Generally, they need to know which department you need to send it. I believe each department has it's own number
