Our experience with Okefeild Acres has been excellent. Our puppy Claude has been with us for 10 days and is healthy, happy and well-adjusted. He is curious and confident, even in his new city environment, and Okefeild did an excellent job on basic training - he walks nicely on his leash, comes running when he is called and has no trouble with his crate at night. We are still working on potty training, but Claude is attentive and eager to learn. He socializes well with people and other dogs. In addition to providing an adorable, healthy puppy with an excellent temperament and basic training, Okefeild was a pleasure to work with throughout the adoption process. They were patient and responsive in talking us through all of our concerns as first time dog owners. Their weekly updates were not only adorable but also very helpful in preparing us, and Okefeild guided us towards a puppy with a great temperament for city living. He was extremely calm when we picked him up at the airport, and Okefeild provided comprehensive documentation and a helpful puppy starter kit. I would absolutely recommend this breeder to others.
