While they have streamlined the appointment and registration process it still takes them forever in the back office to see you. The Hispanic male nurse is wonderful not the others so much as they appear to be unhappy with their job.

Moved from TN to GA, screening for school is required and what they don't tell you is that it is also 40-50$ upfront. They don't tell you because it's a poor tax. Kid can't go to school without it. At least TN provided what was needed for kids rather than using them to extort money. Arrived early and we're waiting almost an hour+ since the appt was scheduled for.

I’m so impressed! This entire team is knowledgeable, detailed, patient, and professional. They were kind to me — and to each other as they worked to fix my problem: A grocery store chain failed to upload my info from a previous covid booster. An RN (I don’t know her name) hung tough to fix the problem! This office is Public Health at its finest!

The Cobb County vital record office (inside of the health department building) is wonderful. It's always clean, they're bilingual in English and Spanish and they try to be efficient. If you need a Georgia birth or death certificate, this is a good office to obtain one.

I worked here for a short time these people are LAZY! Nobody gets fired unless they threatened to expose corruption! They route the calls on the phone tree to random employees not the actual person whose job it is to answer the phone! If you get someone be nice because they are almost certainly doing another lazy employees job who didn't want to be bothered!
I thought that might be the case Ellen. But they need to get the system working much better than it is otherwise it will take ages to get the first group of people 1A+ vaccinated. I hope they don't extend to the next group until all the first group has received their vaccinations. There needs to be more locations set up in the County that's for sure and only 6 hours a day is ridiculous at 5 minutes per slot. Not very efficient in my book!
Thank you for your inquiry. Please contact our Adult Health Program and they will be able to answer your questions for you. 770-514-2380 or 770-514-2368. -Cobb & Douglas Public Health
Thank you for for inquiry. The Centers for Disease Control has a very helpful website to help you decide what medicines and vaccines you may need for your trip. Once you enter your travel destination, it provides recommendations specific to your trip. https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel If you would like to make an appointment with our Travel Clinic, we have 3 locations. Please call our Marietta, Acworth-Kennesaw or Douglasville locations for an appointment: 770-514-2300. -Cobb & Douglas Public Health
You can apply online www.gateway.ga.gov or go to the DFCS office and apply.
Yes. You can get pills, Depo shot, the patch, the ring, IUD or the implant. They also offer male and female condoms.
You can go to Someone Cares and get a free test there. It's a non profit and you'll deal with folks that actually care just Google them.
The website to book the appointments is actually a good source. However you can always call the location you want to make an appointment and they will book it for you.
No you have to go to the social security office. They also do it online.
Yes. You can go to any of the clinic locations. You do not have to be seen in your county.
The emergency room tested me 4 free. Try the health wing at cobb county service board . Sometimes CVS will do it 4 free covered by your insurance . They have affordable costs if you have no insurance or have a low income.
I heard that the website would be back up today. Jim Miller Park is where the vaccine is given. That's all I heard.

The Pharmacy at our Marietta Health Center location is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Please note: the Pharmacy is closed from 11:30 a.m. to noon daily.) Thank you.
It depends on the service. They will only do extractions that are not surgical. I think if I remember correctly to be seen its 40 dollars and then the service costs depends on what they do. Up to about 75 and on. Again depending on the service they provide. They are decent at what they do though.
Hi Mary, please call us directly at 770-514-2300 so that the operator can direct you to the most available staff member in Immunizations who can answer immunizations schedule questions related to cost and insurance providers, as well as uninsured/uncovered costs for needed shots. Thank you! - Cobb & Douglas Public Health
They never answer! Its better to go there personally.
To begin with find out which school zone you are in. Once that is done check the school website and get the required documents like immunization records, medical forms, residence proof, and proof of age. Walk down to the school submit the documents and fill there required forms and you should be done.I hope i have answered all ur questions
There are ways to find actual employees direct numbers. Try Googling name and job title and you will likely get their LinkedIn page since everyone who works here is trying to leave.
