The service itself was great, staff was friendly and the food was amazing! Well beyond what was expected, we had every meal at Versailles. Rooms could have been a little more updated, but the experience and charm itself made up for it. Only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because I was overcharged for something and all 14 of my calls won’t go through. The call drops before it even rings. I’m sure this is an easy fix and honest mistake, but I can’t even speak to anyone. It’s very frustrating. I’ve made 10 calls between now and yesterday. I’d really hate to drive two hours away to fix the issue in person.

We were super excited to visit chateau elan, we had heard awesome things from our friends and colleagues. Long story short it was terrible. 1. Loud: they put us next to a couple of guys who were obviously having a bachelor party (strange choice to come to chateau elan but whatever) so we asked to move. They moved us to a room that had active construction all day. They were like cleaning the roof off until 11pm. I asked multiple times if they could stop so we could sleep and the front desk said yes but they kept going. It was insane. 2. Food. Overall the food was subpar. The Irish restaurant took forever to get our orders and the food was not great. I will say to be fair the buffet for breakfast was solid but super expensive. 3. Cost- it just doesn’t add up. It’s incredibly expensive for a subpar experience. My wife and I have been to old Edwards inn in highlands and this is like a terrible knockoff experience of that.

There is a hotel like building, looks really nice, didn't stay though.
Early check in is available depending on occupancy but 3:00 pm is stardard
