I had gone on-line for an appointment to get my passport. I arrived about 25 minutes prior to my allotted time, but when I called to say I was there, I was told the appt before me had cancelled and that I could come on in. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. The appointment system is great.

TNRealID.gov has the complete list but what we can accept here is U.S. Passport/Card or Birth Certificate (if name is different than your license then you will also need proof of the name change i.e. Marriage License, Divorce Decree or Court Order. Then we will need proof of FULL Social Security Number. That can be a SS Card, W-2 or 1099. Lastly you will need 2 proofs of residency such as a utility bill, voters registration card, vehicle title etc. I would advise to check the complete list at the website above. No you cant do anything dealing with drivers license at the Mount Juliet office. If you are just renewing and not changing anything but your picture you can go to the kiosk at Mt Juliet Police dept. If you are coming from out of state, changing name or address you will need to go to DMV in Lebanon , 204 Maddox Simpson Pkwy Or you can go to 129 South College st in Lebanon which is a smaller off that handles drivers license
