We're located in the Missouri Ozarks, an area of heavily wooded gentle hills and valleys. Our lake is about 180 acres and is relatively deep, good for fishing, boating, and swimming. We have a campground suitable for RV or tent camping, most with electricity and water. There's a swimming beach with a playground and pavilion, and a lovely garden area near the beach with a gazebo. There are three boat ramps with areas to dock boats. The lodge can be rented for private events, and we hold several social events such as movie and game nights. Owensville is somewhat unusual in that it's a relatively small town, but has a Walmart supercenter and a newly remodeled McDonald's, an Orschlen Farm Store, bowling alley, churches of several demoninations, a VFW, Moose Lodge, Masonic Lodge and Shrine chapter, Knights of Columbus, and Lions Club. In the off-season, it's very quiet, but there's plenty to do around the region.
