Good place to learn about the Civil War battle fought here. Good park with old time feel playground. Perfect for a day trip/school outing. Ample picknick table and park style grills. Very Pretty! Plan a trip during the fall and go to Pumpkin Hollow- a pumpkin patch, maze and Family oriented Halloween stop, which is like a mile away.

Hard to find and nothing there but a poor maintained trail. No trail maps. Very dirty restrooms

A piece of civil war history preserved for all to see for free! I had no idea this was here until I found it on google maps! Beautiful scenic paved walking path through the woods, beautiful view of the river below.

There is an annual reenactment in May when some people bring campers, possibly tents, I'm not sure.
