So upon walking in we noticed it didn't smell like food at all but ok, we sat down and ordered drinks and an alcapurria appetizer. It took about 20 minutes for the alcapurria to arrive. It was good but didn't have much meat and was very greasy. While waiting for the appetizer we ordered our food which took about 40 minutes to come. The pernil was delicious and so were the tostones. The arroz con gandules was dry and lacked flavor. The habichuelas were watered down and again lacked flavor. The mofongo was ok but there wasn't any chicharron in it and for someone who calls themselves the "mofongo king" they might need to reconsider because I've definitely had much better mofongo. Overall $115 for lunch for 4 people that I could've made better and for much less at home. I probably won't be back.

Extremely disappointed with their catering services!!! The food was cold and they did not provide the food that was ordered and paid for! I confirmed with the restaurant 5 days before the event and again the day before with Jose. The day of the event we pick up the food and the entire chicken and onions order (pollo asado) was not provided. We tried calling the restaurant and they did not answer my call. I called Jose on his cell phone and he did not answer my call. I had to send someone to the restaurant and they finally - after 2 hours - told us the order ticket got wet and they could not tell what the original order was…which we paid for IN ADVANCE! I’m not upset with the fact that they totally screwed up the order…it’s how they handled the situation. The customer service sucks and they should have confirmed the order the day before when Jose spoke to me. In the end, they never provided the Pollo Asado.
