First time at Applebee's and it was okay.. Overpriced for the menu options, but the service was great!

Came in late because I work the late shift at my job and have no other option than to dine late at night. The food was atrocious and the service was not much better. Basically paid $20 for three small chicken tenders over squishy bland pasta and I didn’t even eat the pasta. My husband got the steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli and the steak was rubbery and the broccoli looked so dead and smelled nasty. The best thing on his plate were the mashed potatoes and he said that he could make better ones from an Idahoan packet that we have at home. The atmosphere in the restaurant was like a back alley bar. The music was SO LOUD I could barely even think. My husband and I were sitting together on the same side of the table in a booth seat and we were struggling to hear each other speak the whole time. Bathrooms were disgusting. Table was sticky. Everything that could go wrong with this place went wrong. Thank you for reminding me why I hate Applebee’s. Do better!
