I had a plumbing issue that I felt I could fix. Ace not only had the part I needed but the employee gave me helpful information. I would not have been able to complete the job without his helpful hints. I'm grateful! I'm also DONE with Lowe's and Home Depot. Ace is my go-to.

You lost a customer today. This location refused to redeem my measly $5 Ace Rewards from the app. Got a long and somewhat defensive explanation from the staff about stores being individually owned, and you can only redeem the rewards at one specific location. This makes no sense to me, especially since they had just ASKED me if I was an Ace Rewards member! But then they refuse to honor an Ace Reward, and act like I’m doing something wrong??? The Ace app gives no indication of the rewards being store-specific. Not to mention the employee talking to me as if I was trying to get away with something sneaky, and an overall sour demeanor. Ace is overpriced as it is. Not worth it.

Went looking for flowers. They have an abysmal selection. This ace is where plants go to die. I decided to get a few anyway, so I take them to the cashier to find the price was actually $2 more than posted because "they in the big pots". I STILL decided to buy them because I didn't want to keep driving all over town looking for plants so I handed over my $5 off a $25 purchase ace rewards coupon and was informed they can't accept it because Bonnie is an outside vendor. I literally used the same coupon on the same plants at Woodville ace yesterday with no problem. Apparently they are within their right to refuse the coupon if they want, but they just lost a customer over $5. If you plan to shop at ace, stay far away from the one on north Monroe.
