Took an early fall, mid afternoon stroll through the park. There were very few people here and the view of Long Island sound, Bridgeport Harbor and Long Island were awesome! The walking path was clean, numerous trash cans and adequate restroom facilities.

This park gives new definition to "a hidden gem". If given the opportunity don't pass it up. You do need a sticker or can pay for the day. Either way its a must and one of Bridgeport, CT's most beautiful locations.

Beautiful park which housed the masses of people who were at Sound on Sound! The festival was terribly planned but the venue and especially the parakeets were gorgeous!

When the park is free come down here and see out of town people parking everywhere there is no bike lane because they park in it from end to end so pay
e
Yes, not sure of the hours 4 the restroom but they do have them. And a really nice playground
20 for Bridgeport resident and 30 if your not
Yes you need to be a city resident or pay 50.00 for the day
fishing license is for fresh water fishing ....sea side would imply salt water no license would be need to fish there
Cost?
Yes, absolutely
Yes there is down towards the point there are grills provided by the park but you'll be better off to bring your own
Go to City Hall across the street from Congress st up the golden hill st
No. Its just a city park. You have to have a city pass to get in for free. You get the pass from town hall. Anyone can get a pass. If you reside out of the Bridgeport area you have to pay a little more. I would only suggest purchasing the pass if you are going to be spending a lot of time at Seaside. Otherwise, just pay the one time fee at the gate.
Only for paid sporting event
Yes they can and from what the sign says its $130 for the season and $30 for the day
It was 30 last year
https://www.bridgeportct.gov/content/341307/341415/342197.aspx According to the website, only bridgeport residents are allowed to enter the park with the park sticker.
Its $15 for the sticker you can park for free after 6 and you only get the sticker of you're from Bridgeport
From 2 to 3 hours before high tide and 2 to 3 hours after high tide.
June to August
I am not sure if there's handicap access to the beach. I didn't see any. However, this is off the topic and quite some ways out but there's handicap access in Ocean City MD.
Ct residents 30.00weekday 40.00 weekend out of state 50.00weekday 60.00weekend
Not sure i know they do on weekends at short beach in Stratford
To get to the beach to go to the station is the park ave drive straight and you arrive at the main entrance
The fee usually is 15 to 20 but if u go in there with car, they will charge you.
You can enter the beach walking is free
Take your fish if you got any or give you a fine maybe take your fishing equipment
it is free if you walk. with a car it's not free until 5 after 5 it is free
Residents with a Bridgeport vehicle registration can get a yearly pass for $15. Non-resident, CT plates can get a yearly pass for $130. Day Pass pricing varies: Weekday Day Pass CT Plate: $30 Out of State Plate: $50 Weekend/Holiday Day Pass CT Plate: $40 Out of State Plate: $60
Agreeing with Michelle Burke... the one day fee is really not worth it but that's just my opinion, you are better off paying $15 for 1 year. However if you're from out of town visiting then the 1 day pass is your best bet.
No...its open to all!
Theres not a lot of areas for it first off and second off people dont seem to have best if luck honestly dont get me weong there are a few spots worth trying just watch for no fishing signs as well cause their on top of that. Lake zoar is a great spot to check out.
Yes, but you need either a Bridgeport parking pass or you have to pay for entry. You can Google Seaside Park for entry details.
Yes
Davine is right, also during the summer season, the charge goes to $100 non- Bpt resident and $10 Bpt resident to enter the park from open till 6pm. After that it's free, but the park does close at 8pm.
You can walk in for free
