I use to be a member when I call they never pick up maybe cause they are never open and people there are not friendly at all. Watch out for the old guy he bite. Every time I show up they are so angry. I am a veteran and I will not go back to this range or renew my membership waste of money and you cant even shoot

They claim that retired law enforcement are not allowed to shoot because of insurance issues, which doesn't make sense to me.

If you want them to shoot go ahead
You need your own gun, NYC permit and a membership. They do not have or rent guns for shooting.
Go get your permit from one police plaza/online app and fill out the application (Home premise) which is $300+. Good luck. PSA I doubt a range is going to walk you through that process.

We highly recommend that your wife and you take the NRA Basic Pistol course. To be able to use Bay Ridge Range, you need to have a New York City Pistol License as well as become a member of the club.
