Horrible experience. My husband and I are from Minot and needed a little getaway as we are trying to be safe during the pandemic. We booked a room to enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub along with a couple of drinks. Upon our arrival we were told the pool was open until 10:30 as there were several other people swimming, great! There were tables available with chairs stacked not being used. The only signs around were “no glass around pool area” which is understandable. My husband and I decided to order a pizza and as soon as it was delivered we were told we were no longer allowed in the pool area with any food or drink (although there were tables and chairs still available with zero sings and it was not explained before signing for the room) and there was literally no one else around. No one. Flabbergasted I asked why we were not allowed to enjoy dinner at the pool when there are zero signs stating this and we were definitely not informed when we booked the room (the pool area was the only reason we were staying there) and the “owner” proceeded to tell me that we were only allowed 20 minutes pool time and we “had received plenty” Are you kidding me? What kind of customer service is this? We were at the hotel for only an hour - I requested a refund with zero help from management. They insisted that it was covid protocol, which I would understand if there was a crowd of people. And then they blamed it on my “language control” because I was an upset customer who was not told of all the pool conditions before signing WHEN WE ASKED, and we demanding a refund. We were the only two happy customers in the entire hotel and they were extremely rude. I will never stay here again and I will make sure to tell everyone I know about the experience so they don’t stay there either. The weekend prior we had stayed at the GRAND HOTEL - zero pool restrictions, allow food and drinks in pool area. STAY AT THE GRAND HOTEL - NOT the northern plains inn. What a joke.

Owners and staff are super friendly, and the entire facility, was very clean. Pool are was also clean and very nice. Did I mention the rates? Even a poolside room was way lower than we are used to paying. The staff did everything the could to accommodate us, I'd give six stars if I could...

Reasonably priced. The room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. There is a pool and hot tub (Didnt have time to use it tho). I would stay there again! Thanks to victor we will be back.

When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff and made to feel welcome. Our room was not cleaned so we were moved to another room right away. Unfortunately this room also could have been cleaner. The beds are comfy and the rooms are quite spacious. The pool is nice and the hit tub was hot enough. Breakfast was extremely disappointing and the wifi is virtually nonexistent. The hotel is okay, too bad it isn't at the level of the staff, which are world class.
