If going on a Sunday then yes you do as it is a prepaid reservation only day. But if going on Friday or Saturday then no you don't and they won't even accept them those two days unless you have a group of 20 or more then you need to no matter which of those days. Even before the pandemic it was done exactly the same way - they put it on your plate for you. And like others said, I've never experienced an issue returning multiple times for lobster.

There are many kinds of seafood. You’ll have to be more specific. Lobster and crabs are almost never farm raised whereas shrimp is almost always farm raised.

There are no hotels on the premises however you can find them nearby. Foxwoods Casino and the Outlets are close as well so there is definitely a lodging presence in the area.

There are a few hotels / motels in Charlestown and Westerly but not tons - your options are limited . You would be better off staying at Fox Woods or somewhere in Connecticut then driving or taking an uber to the lodge. Another option is camping at Burlingame Campground - 10min away also in Charlestown . Which is what we did and loved it.

I think they're trying to keep track of what food items people are taking the most of, and they Relay that to kitchen staff quick so they know what food to prepare and bring out next. That would be my guess. I deliver seafood to them, I know some of the owners (it's a family own place), very nice and good people, trust me it's nothing shady on their part.
