Very disappointed. Drove 1.5 hours to our “large, open lakefront site” to turn right around and find a different campground. The site was sandwiched between two others, VERY tight. All of the fire pits were right next to each other. No privacy. You get a lakefront view, but also the view of all your neighbors. Now we are paying double (that site + the new site) because of the misleading photo & description, as East Arbutus doesn’t offer refunds.

I came here to take a shower. Water still stinks but toilets are flushable. I had 4 huge rolls of quarters and only needed 2 quarters. And 4 minutes is all you need. It was such a long shower I shampooed twice! Imagine the banks face when I brought back all those quarters.

I have 4 kids from 17 to 3. We've used every trail at east Arbutus. From point A to point C is a bit far for the younger ones but the trails are well maintained and clearly marked. Just don't forget your bug spray!

Yes, definitely. At the beginning of the campground, just past the main gate there are 2 potable water sources. One left and one right. Also, one in the rustic sites and 2 more further into the campground. There are signs posted. Gray with white lettering.

Depending on sites available you can yea , or i go to Russell memorial they have nice sites , and trails and enough room park car trailer at sight . Hope helps you some
I wish i could answer that. We didnt need electrical. Pretty sure water is free as there were a few pumps around. Hope that helps. I would contact the park service for more info!
