Joined the Co-op this past Spring and it's been a great experience. The quality of the produce and products is great, comparable to Union Market and other places in the neighborhood. The shelves are well stocked and if you need something, there's usually a shift worker in the isle who can help you. Shifts are (currently) every six weeks, so there's room to sign up. People are friendly and willing to help if you have questions on your shift. Overall great community to be a part of.

There are some busy times, but for the most part the line to get in is short and it moves quickly (early in the week and the morning seem to be great times to shop). Same goes for checking out.

Frozen kosher turkeys are available starting 11/17. Fresh turkeys come in 11/18-11/23.
Yes. Though during the pandemic many bulk items (flour rice beans etc) are temporarily pre-bagged. I think you can take a tour or get a friend who is a member to let you in before you decide whether to join. --- edit: I forgot that tours etc are not currently available due to Covid restrictions
If you're asking about parking, then you are not likely a member of the coop. You should know that you must be a member to shop and that joining is not a same day, immediate process. You must attend a meeting first. Details are on the website.

You have until your next scheduled shift. Then you can ask for an extension, if necessary.
There is a book at the front counter to make requests. They will follow up and call you.
Just decide what shift you want to do and go in at the beginning of the shift and let the squad leader know you're there to do a make up. You don't have to schedule in advance.
