Positive: Pleasant, helpful staff Negative: The room heating/cooling units appear to be defective. All motels have similar loud units, but these seem to have regulator failures that would try to loudly click on several times before it turns on or it doesn't. Noticed hallway units were the same.

Positive: ¿¿¿¿¿Great staff, lovely breakfast, kids loved it, pool was clean,room was simple and clean. Very comfortable. Negative: ¿¿¿¿A great stay! Maybe bring your favorite sanitizing air spray as my room smelled a little musky from cleaning products. But open windows helped quickly.No complaints, just a suggestion.

Hotel was cute and reasonably priced. We got the king suite, which was perfect for my husband, 4 year old, and me. When we first entered our room, we noticed right away the room wasn't clean. It was like they began cleaning and got distracted. Bathroom, sink, and tv/couch area were cleaned, but in the bedroom, the bedding had been removed, there was an old coffee cup on the dresser, and a couple of old room keys were there. The staff was very apologetic. They offered us the room next door, but it would need to be cleaned. As soon as my husband opened the door to that room, he said it wreaked of cigarettes, so we just left as the finished cleaning the original room. Just a minor inconvenience. After our second night, we completed the form to get new toiletries. Placed it on the door around 8am. When we returned at 6pm, the card was still hanging, and they had not left any of the towels or soap we requested. There were a few good restaurants within walking distance. It's about a 30 min drive to Aspen for skiing. Housekeeping just seems to be an issue here.

The manager is a true gem. I asked for a quiet upstairs room and got this phenomenal room, 201. Two windows with great views of the sunrise over the mountains. Super nice staff. Great breakfast if you actually want healthy and calories to go ski all day. Lots of fresh fruit. Any one who complains is a spoiled orifice. Also very clean rooms, great TV. Firm mattresses, new bedding. And a super great deal to avoid expensive Aspen, and be close to Glenwood springs.
