Some people feel every cat should have a loving home. Well I do not at all. I think every cat's life should be a terrifying short painful experience. But their intentions are good. Unlike mine.

While this place is clean and appears to be a very pleasant environment for its many well-tended cats, good luck trying to get one of them ! We had just lost three very elderly beloved cats, each 19 years old, after lengthy (and expensive) illness. Our remaining cat was young, and we were looking for company close to his age. Fell in love with one of their kittens, but was told that cat "was probably going to another family". Several follow-up calls later, that was confirmed. Another visit, chose another kitten. After several pages of application - vet and other cat owners' references, homeowner, job - current cats' medical records, plans for the cat in case of my (apparently imminent) demise (I was a healthy, working 62 year old) .... I was told I was "the perfect Cat Mom". That was nice, but I already knew that. Days later, a phone call came from them, asking "You're not over 60, are you?" Puzzled, I confirmed I was, and was told that I could get an older cat, but not a kitten under 6 months. This was because I might die before the cat, leaving it stranded. I'm not sure what difference 6 months would make in that scenario, and had provided the names of two caregivers I'd lined up for just such a possibility. Having just spent thousands of dollars and untold heartache while tending, and losing, my beloved senior cats, I couldn't sign on for more of that. Also, my younger cat needed a playmate. I went elsewhere and found a 6 month kitten who is our GREAT joy, and the perfect buddy for Sam. After four years, it still rankles, and I no longer contribute to this shelter. No doubt they're just over-protective, but let them save (and keep) their cats. Save yourself the abuse and find a cat elsewhere.

Very rude volunteer experience.

Caring volunteers, no kill shelter where the cats well-being is prioritized. Thank you!!

Yes they do. Also blankets too. Check out their website or give them a call ...thank you ❤️
I'm sure just contact them. Very friendly staff/volunteers
Yes, kittens live with foster families & come to FF on Saturday's for the open house event. There are young cats mixed into the rooms at the shelter, with the older ones. You should follow FF on Facebook- they posts pics a lot of the cats & of which kittens will be at the open houses.
