Service was slow, but not to the point of being a real issue. However the food itself was generally unacceptable. The hush puppies had batter in the middle, our server advised us that they just came this way. I wasn't able to really judge my brisket sandwich as it was heavily over sauced to the point of being a sloppy joe. The ribs arrived unsauced, largely without seasoning, and were clearly unsmoked. I doubt I will return.

We heard rave reviews on google… but boy, were we disappointed! The food was marginal. Fatty brisket was served to my husband. The ribs were just okay. The rub and barbecue sauce did not mesh well together. It was like it was just thrown together. The server was aggressively unfriendly. Never once did he come to ask how everything was or if we needed anything else. Another worker (possibly the manager or owner) came over to our table. I thought he came over to say hello and ask how everything was… but instead he just cleared a few dirty dishes away. I tried to make conversation, but he wasn’t much more friendly than our server. The vibe of the place was so poor, we were made to feel as if we were crashing a party we weren’t invited to. I will say the hostess (who wore glasses) that greeted us at the door was very nice, but it all went downhill from there. We thought we were in for a treat, but we would’ve been better off almost anywhere else. Never again.
