I don't think people working here fully know how the SSN are being issued. I had to make another trip to the office after being mislead initially. You will also be entertained by a rude and arrogant security guard who doesn't know how to talk to people.

They have a very unprofessional and misbehaving security guard in the office at second floor. He's not employable for any kind of job. Will try to force his authority over face masks and would refuse to answer any question. It's disgusting to encounter such people at such offices.

If you're looking for a replacement card, yes that can be done online. If you mean "change" meaning name change or number, I'm pretty sure you'll need to to the office. If you go, get there as early as possibly. 10a is too late and you'll wait a while. Good luck.

as far as I understand. u submit your actual photo i.d. Into drop box at the location that is assigned to your home adress on your i.d. example u live in huntington you use drop box in melville. you can only do this on Mondays early hours. then in about 3 days u will get back your license certified mail. and then if all checks out on their end u will receive your replacement card about 8 days after that. this does not account for any issues. they could also call you with additional verification questions so make sure to look out for that call. hope this helps good luck! p.s. thanks alot corona. ughhh
