I went down to NHBOE about a week ago and I have not yet heard nothing from the first floor director. When I went there I spoke to the eight floor's director about the school principal where my children go etc and she told me unfortunately that she can not do nothing about my kid's going to another school that the director on the first floor, and the employee's hopefully can.So I go back down and one of the lady's go and get the director whose on the first floor, she asked me what did the eight floor director said and I told her and yet she goes"well I have to talk to the eight floor director still but here's a paper write your child's information" and I'm like I told you,I have two children in the school, not one but she walked away.smh..I hope my children get changed or else I have to do something else who is above them I guess..But NHBOE,mm 👎down I loved everything about West Haven School's and WHBOE..I can't wait to be back in wh!

august 2017 - our daughter attended the esum school. her experiences were not positive. we entered the 'school lottery'. we have been down to the board of education seven times since school ended. at her school of choice she was ( #7), a couple weeks later she had been upgraded to (#6). since that we have not been contacted at all. we continued to go to the building. no one would explain the process, or help navigate the school minefield. school starts next week, and we have no school slot. all the workers are all reading from the same script - say nothing. i have had some horrible experiences at the DMV , nothing worse than this agency. transparency is the popular key phrase these days - this new haven board of education is as transparent as a stone wall. aug/ 2017

What do I need to get my daughter in school just moved to 7 woolsey street in newhaven Ct 06513
You will have to discuss that with the school since they will have to determine if she has sufficient credits to skip a grade.
You would have to go down to the board of education and the principal of the school to ask that question. Start with the principal of Betsy Ross first as they know your child best. Best of luck to you and your daughter.
I'm sorry, but I don't know. If you need or want to know, you can contact the West Haven's Board of Education.
