I would rather drive an hour and swim in this river than swim in one of the many lakes closer to our home... water is beautiful. Clear and clean and always cold. A gem 💎.

Today 4/26/20, the trails were closed for maintenance. The bridge there was closed as well and while the weather was grey and rainy, nature is always beautiful and declares God's majesty!

No camp sites...like day an eve park..have seen tents further up the river..used to camp along the river myself...there are porta potties..no elct that i know of
There is a couple campgrounds in the area. Bagley Nature Campground is only a couple short miles away.
Not sure if you look on city of Duluth park and rec web page you should be able to find the answer
City duluth park...worth checking it out..great experience
