We were a little apprehensive due to the handful of negative reviews but our apprehension disappeared almost immediately. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins with two boys age 10 and 11 and our chocolate lab. I don’t know who has more fun, the kids or adults. The park is extremely family and dog friendly. We had fun with the mini golf, pool of course and the boys rented the pedal go karts on the last day. We also really enjoyed the catch and release pond. The ladies working in the store were friendly and helpful. All in all we had a blast and if you are considering staying here but worried about the negative reviews, I highly suggest you give it a shot! We will be coming back again next year.

Nope. Never again. Two days before we were to go for a week, we found out the kids water park was closed. This was a big part of choosing the campground as we had very little kids in our group. And yes, this campsite is a construction zone. Surprised to hear that others were asked if construction could be done on their site, as at our site they casually blew straw onto our camper and planted grass seed while we tried to use the site. No discount was offered for the pleasure of camping on the construction zone or lack of facilities closed for repair. Amenities such as bar were only open on the weekend, arcade was closed early at 8pm. Arcade was neglected with year old candy in machines, front desk wouldn't do anything about it. Our party called the vendor and solved the issue. (I think that alone agrees with most of the complaints from others of how customers are treated.) The mini golf course is a fabulous 12 hole course, not the typical 18 hole traditionally played elsewhere in the world. We also witnessed young children being yelled at by staff for the crime of signing camp songs loudly in a pavilion. What a shame as the campsite seemed very promising.

2 of 3 bathroom stalls were out of paper for more than 2 days. No lights in the showers; overhead florescent strip light that didn't come on despite every attempt to activate motion sensor. Staff didn't seem happy to be here. There is a store, but it doesn't carry any real food, just mustard, hamburger buns, ice, pop tarts, candy, soda, etc., but there is free coffee! A large part of this huge campground is permanent residences, so watch for golf cart cruisers. The pools and areas are very clean and not overly chlorinated. Not all camping spaces are shaded, so check out your spot before you accept it. No clubhouse area for hanging out or laptop work. Wifi drops a lot. No AT&T network reception.

We reserved and paid for a campsite with deluxe patio and fenced in area for dogs. DID NOT get what we paid for! Two days prior to check in received a text pool closed and wifi not working. After checking in and going to campsite it was fresh gravel! Not one campsite had deluxe patio and fenced in area. WAS NOT told this when checking in. The site was not level, tree roots sticking out. One camper told us not to get close to the edge you would sink. We moved to site across the road and was charged $5 for a "premium" campsite that was gravel! Two campers tried to park next to us and were not able to because the site wasn't level and couldn't get their camper leveled. It was quite obvious the campground was not ready for Memorial Day weekend opening camping season! The map of the campground is incorrect. One of the road by the campsite was suppose to go through and it ended with a campsite. Many campers, including us had to back up the road to get out. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! Definitely misrepresented their campsites.
