May 20, 2022 at 5:50 PM Dr. Sandya Shivashankur, I have so much gratitude, appreciation and thank you because you were the Physician who after being hoarse for 4 months, having negative Covid test every time and headed for my third round of antibiotics, you ordered a chest X-ray (January 9, 2022). After viewing the results, you immediately called me and quickly ordered a CT (January 13, 2022). Both X-ray and CT noted an abnormal mass in the right lower lobe.Your quick action then lead to PET Scan (February 16, 2022) which confirmed further the abnormal mass which lead to a PET scan and biopsy (February 23, 2022). The results were back in 2 days and I had to immediately schedule a visit with a Thoracic Surgeon. On March 17th my right lower lobe was removed, revealing 2 abnormal masses. One was clear but the other had the gene Exxon 19. Thank you for acting quickly with a sense of urgency. The hoarseness is gone!!! Now, I am on Tagrisso getting better day by day. A million thank you would not be enough to let you I’m know how much I appreciate you, your quick analysis and your caring. Because of you, your clients should know that they are in great hands when they come in with heath issues. Forever grateful patient, Alwyn C.
