So I was tested positive for COVID-19 and was not feeling well. I called Parkland Health for a doctor appointment. They told me a new patient needs to wait for 6 months to get an appointment. I told them I need an appointment sooner than that because of my current situation. They told me they cannot help.

Too late Review!!!! Back on april 10th 2021 being on labor and delivery room, my wife was being attended by An African American young average lady, (I apologize for the race but wanted to be accurate hopping she knows) she was probably a bit taller than 5 feet and Carrying a card with the name of "MORGAN" she treated my wife like a princess (I mean her attitude is so sweet) for hours... Then when the time came, another female dr came and helped with my son's birth so I thanked that Dr so much, after that I was waiting to see "MORGAN" again to tell her how much we appreciate all she did but she didn't show up anymore, so I don't know if she thought I was mean but as a husband I was nervous at all times so I was just holding on to tell her how much thankful we were... Hope someone there knows her and tell her. I know who she is if see her again, but anyways She made our experience the best from all my bbs Thank you MORGAN...🙂🙂🙂

I went to the emergency room for an accident that involved my head hitting on the concrete. The back of my head and back of my neck hurts plus the front of my neck is swollen. Everyone was rude and short tempered when asking a question. I sat there for 7 hrs to be seen just sitting in a hallway. Only to walk out in even more pain. I don't care what position your role is you are still supposed to treat people with kindness. I'm a PCT at UT Southwestern and we all are learned in the Healthcare industry is provide COMPASSION AND KINDNESS.

Hands down the best doctors. I was born here my children were born here, but this next baby I don’t know. It’s feels like the tech aren’t CP friendly. This is my 3 visit and the tech literally call my name to come back then had me sit. And asked the nurse could I come back(she said yes). Then try to get an Hispanic lady instead. I told her I’m who you called. This just happens at 10:45am. The other 2 times was just as bad. IFY I am very sweet and kind through all visits. I may have to find a new hospital.

They have the oral surgery department but if you can make an appointment and get in they will check your teeth out and do X-rays
They applied me right there on the spot! I was having abdominal pain and it turnt out I was pregnant and a lady came in and applied me
Of it's for Covid testing, you can do it directly from their hompage. All other appointments are done on the individual practicer's page.
No
So,habla metrcare en el called Samuel.O greenoaks n LA medical city.Called Forest ln.
It depends on how many people are ahead of you.
Yes
No
International patients yes. Not sure about paying out but wouldn't see why not. Who doesn't like being payed out
You can get one from the Anderson Clinic.
When you go the Anderson Clinic you can apply on the 1st floor, the information desk will show you whom to talk to.
Yes, you can take her to the emergency room first, then once they get her in, then you can everything to them. Then they will admit her and help her get Parkland Health Plan coverage.
In this hospital was where President Kennedy died?
You have to go to the old parkland hospital. They have a dentist there. But the dentist there only pulls teeth, they only take xrays of your mouth and pull teeth. It is on the 3rd or 4th floor. You can always ask someone on that floor. Where the dentist office is.
The truth is I have not been told to call me to make the appointment but since I have time I'm already in my days and then I will not make an appointment😢
If it's on the first floor
Walk in the main doors and take a right... Walk like you are going to the cafeteria and where you make a right to go go the cafiteria the medical records will be the first office on your left hand side
Probably depends in part on the doctor. Your health insurance company would be the best to ask to be sure the doctor, hospital, snd every other part involvef is covered by your paln.
Definitely, you sure can as long as you meet the eligibility requirements. It's all based on your financial situation
Parkland takes insurance . Call and check to see if they take your insurance.
5pm
It varies. Check with the Information Desk.
Yes they do.
ke something if you have the high rise in 455
Yes, Parkland Health Plus. Goes by your income level as to how mich you pay for services rendered.
Contact her physician, make him aware of the situation. Then take her to the hospital or urgent care clinic that he recommends. If it comes to the point of an emergency take her to the nearest hospital or urgent Care Center.
Call the main number they will direct you to the dental lab if they have it, or you can go through baylor hospital they a dental college inside
Most definitely...they have special units and staff that will sit with that person.
Absolutely!
Ask for a Ultrasound as a way to better locate the vein. It worked very well with my brother who veins rolled as well
I'd suggest you call Parkland directly. C-section costs can vary depending on the patients health and factors that happen during the procedure itself. However, parkland will be the ones that can provide you with a more accurate amount and any other information.
It would be best to contact Parkland directly, as to Parkland has many hospital systems and clinics. Sometimes You can't receive all services from one clinic.
I'm so sorry I really don't know,,,
Patience is a virtue. Try being nice.
Yes they do it's called parkland plan plus
Yes they do.Call and ask to make an appointment for dental work.
Nope, come one, come all!
I have a nephew at Parkland Hospital whereas they saying brain dead? He move when someone talks to at that point. Now all of sudden we asking all these questions and keep getting the same answer brain dead. How is it brain dead when a person response and was told not give medication? Do parkland have that right to play GOD?
Prison is not here. It's on 600 Commerce street, Dallas.
I work in IT so I would have no idea. Good luck finding out!
Please call the customer service number and enquire
Not sure🤔😃
This place will have you waiting for hours. I only recommend this place for trauma.
I'm not from Parkland, but I'm a frequent flyer, I will help if I can.
If you have Mychart, an app from Parkland, you can register online for the shots. If you are an established patient ask your caregiver. You might have to wait a week, get on the list.
I wouldn't be able to tell you because I have not taken it, im sorry!!
Probably but I recommend you to go with your birth certificate
They accepted me and took care of my needs when I went there so if they're denying you I don't know why and it's unacceptable
Parkland has multiple Clinics(COPC) that has Walk-in days, you can take a look at the website to see their addresses. However if you're closer to Parkland Hospital then you can go to the Urgent Care Clinic which is located on the 3rd floor of the WISH Building.
Yes
It's not a weight loss program. Its call nutrition program to teach you how and what to eat to loss the weight
Go look for the search desk or call for info
I think so
By law hospitals can Not turn you away. You should Definitely go in if you are having swelling in your limbs! If you ask to speak to a social worker they can help you sign up for Medicaid if insurance is unaffordable. It takes a while to get approved and you'll have to prove your income, but Medicaid will help pay your medical bills 3 months retroactively. Just save your bills and give them to the case worker assigned to interview you. It's also faster if you apply yourself for Medicaid on yourtexasbenefits.com or for healthcare.gov if you don't qualify, I'm not sure you can work something out with the billing department for payment plans but most medical facilities will work with you on payments. Good luck, and hope you feel better soon!
Just call Parkland Hospital. They will give you more information. I am sure you will find your friend good luck. And as always thank you for visiting Google Maps.
No, but you will need to be in TX to apply for Parkland Plus Insurance plans offered here if you don't have insurance, but I have NEVER heard of our hospital to turn away a patient! ❤
What private insurance does the hospital receive?
I don't no
I do not no
Well, to be honest Keosha Perry. The real reason why they keep people waiting along time in waiting rooms because they see the people that have severe problems first. And then everybody is after them according to how serious it is. And what they do not tell you is that most of them are students or brand new to the medical field. Good Luck, and I hope you feel better. And as always thank you for visiting Google Maps visit the website for all of your concerns and questions.
Yes
You can apply online at... YourTexasBenifits.com
No
I'm not a doctor, but I play one on television. Parkland was unable to save JFK partly because his Obamacare card had expired and partly because half of his brains were inadvertently left on Elm Street. Thanks for asking!
9:00 am I believe
I dont know about CNAs working there but try a place called homehealthcompanions.com they hire CNAs and caregivers
Probably best to check with both the Hospital and your doctor to be sure what they will and will not except when it come to health insurance. There are so many exceptions and rules to flollow, it is always best to check with them.
Probably, or you could call their number and ask?
Not a question.
Just go to the clinic with proof of income, photo ID, a bill or two in your name. Good luck.
There is a phone number you can dial my dude
Was sent a bill from parkland hospital. Was having viginal bleeding. Am on low income salary and can't afford to pay for such amount. What do I do now please?
Nust sign up fir parkland health plus.
Yes it does
They take anybody
Yes, you can get your teeth pulled. That is all they do is XRays and pull teeth. Good luck
Most of the ppl that go there have no insurance or Medicaid/Medicare... It is a county hospital... They also have their own financial assistance type insurance so I would say that they accept any type of insurance
How can i help
in the old building
Thank you very much for your help
Yeah
Parkland used to have a satellite clinic in Garland on Hopkins. I don't know if it is still there but you could check. It is called "Garland health center" and is on a bus route. They are not really for emergencies like if someone is in labor. I think you need to be in some kind of program to get care there but it may be something to check out.
You would probably do better by using the hospital website for this type of thing
You wont be turned away at Parkland, but Children's Medical Center is where kids under 18 should go.
My guess is yes, however be aware that they charge per page and it depends on how many pages it can be expensive, the best approach is to ask your primary care physician to ask for the records. How do I know? I did ask this at my day clinic, one month ago. Best of luck.
Around 9pm or 10pm
Where is the burn unit located at. My husband has a drs appt there..
Hello Wendy, good day, The hospital offers you services at low cost or free. But you have to apply to see if you qualify for any of the aid programs. Ask for information at the entrance of the old hospital before arriving at the pharmacy. Good luck God bless you 🙏
Yes. In the basement.
The E. R should but call them to be 100% sure
You can either call the Main Number or go to the Hospital and find out. They might not want to tell you over the phone for safety and security reasons but if you physically go and tell them your relationship with the person and show your ID, they may release the information
If you go to the Emergency Room, by law they are required to attend to you. They will then refer you to see a Specialist that accepts whatever insurance you have. Besides, Medicare usually covers patients on dialysis.
If you go to the hospital itself, then by law, they are required to attend to you, with or without insurance. However, if it's a doctor's office, then they only accept whatever insurance they are contracted with
Try to find out why the Dr is refusing you pain medications. That is what I will do in a situation like this. You have the right to know you care and treatment plan. Find out why
At parkland you can call just the main number they alway have a great attitude towards helping by phone and usually lead me where I need to go
They don't require upfront payment. It's not a doctor's office where payment is due at time of service unless have insurance. They will threat you and later send you a bill
Yes, it's a county hospital so they can't turn you away.
Yes at parkland
Call to the hospital and talk at the customer service department they will guide u better..probably u dont need to go to the main hospital there are parkland health centers at different locations they may guide u..
You need to speak to Administration or Supervisor on that unit. That is his wife so they should have something or even the couch there in her room if she has one.
If that's how they are at the garland ami clinic, they were the same. I went to the appointment and it was canceled and I lost my job and they never put me down
Parkland urgent care for that is directly across the walkway
U have to go there and tell them your case then they will advice u...
Im not 100% sure but i think not. Call Foremost Clinic (Martin Luther King Center). The helped me with my dental. Also check Baylor College.
It's a multi speciality hospital. Doctors are really good. Don't know about a neurologist, I recently delivered and had a good experience. Have your family doctor refer you to neurologist at Parkland.
I don't understand what you are asking. Please explain yourself. Also, I dont know the cost. Just go in and inquire.
They have a Charity Clinic that will offer Parkland Health Plus Insurance!
yes the womans
They can take you through the emergency room and look at what's wrong
Apologies! That question I do not know!
Not especially so, but it will be as busy as a major metropolitan hospital gets normally.
Yes
because it is a park
Go to career sections in parkland hospital website and apply for interested positions.
Ask on the first floor! In information there they help you and explain!
Call the Parkland Hospital number.
$5 all parking lots. $10 valet
You gotta call up there for that one
You have to make sure your insurance considers considers parkland in network and then you will have to initiate a referral to parkland surgical team through your primary care provider. Hope this helps!
