The facility looks nice and the staff is also very nice. However I feel they are understaffed. My father had a stroke and we took him to violet Springs and they wouldnt provide a bed railing, an alarm (in case he tried to get out of bed) or fall mats, after we requested several times, and he ended up falling out of bed and hit his head which caused major damage to where he had to be transported back to Riverside. We were not happy to learn this. I found him on the ground in his room when I went to visit.

This facility is beautiful. The care and attention my mother in law recieved there was horrific. She needed to be changed at least every 2 hours, which is state law, but she was constantly soaking thru her clothes her bed, her wheel chair. They left her in it even after notifying them of her being really susceptible to UTIs. There were a couple nurses and aides that tried but that was not nearly enough!

It is a pleasure to rate Violet Springs. As background, I’ve been personally involved in selecting and managing relationships with 4 retirement and assisted living facilities for family members. Seen and heard it all I do believe. Given the challenges of the past year, Violet Springs deserves more than 5 stars. They manage the facility exceptional well under trying circumstances. We received timely communications from the CEO on down! Requests for virtual calls were set up quickly and ensured all was functioning. Communication with Mom ensuring she knew the new rules and why were effective. I was able to visit Mom over Easter weekend and the facility was spotless, staff welcoming.

Very hostile work environment. Management will retaliate against you for any reason they can . Nursing staff doesn’t report falls . The work load is too demanding . I have 9 awards through this campus and was fired on FALSE claims of abuse and was terminated 1 day after a bogus investigation!.. All the residents in that place loved me . That place is Ruined thanks to melissa .
