Im a new tenant, and so far I really like living here. Upgrades are great. Love the old growth trees. I love the older home-like vibe of the units. Management is sooo approachable and do want to help, unlike many other complexes. Clean, quiet, and very nice neighbors. Whats not to like?

The new property manager, Heather, is personable and competent and is doing a good job facilitating the updating of the apartments and correcting maintenance issues. The apartments have an updated laundry facility, which is very efficient with new machines for those who do not have their own appliances. The apartments are conveniently located to many amenities and even within walking distance to several. The community is quiet and respectful. One note: Harbor Group is a large management company focused on profit so read the lease carefully and understand all elements of it.

Do not move here! I lived in Mulberry Apartments for three years; however, when the new owners came in this year, everything went downhill fast. To start, the bar could not have been lower. The original owners weren't great, but when they came in, they lowered the bar even more. In the first month they violated the terms of my lease by doing an inspection with less than 24 hours notice. I called to fix this; however, I was basically told "too bad" and the office lady refused to push me to her supervisor or someone above her. They also increased rent an obscene amount for apartments with NO AMENITIES and outdated everything. My apartment had water and mold damage as well as burnt sockets that I tried and failed to get them to fix for three years. There is no central air and the cost to run the heating/air units would sometimes cost $200+ in the winter and summer. If they weren't running cold or hot air would blow right through. The apartments are also terrible at keeping out humidity in the summer. You could feel it and some items in my house would rust as a result. Please save yourself the headache and money and find a better apartment. There are plenty in the area.
