My future sister in law went here for her bridal gown. All of us had such a great experience with Jen that I had to come back to her for my own wedding dress. I can not say enough good things about Jen she is absolutely amazing. She tolerates no non sense from anyone else. This is about the bride and she lets it be known. Every time I have been with her we have a blast laughing, talking and playing dress up. Jen knows exactly what she is doing and deserves more than five stars. I found the most amazing dress because of her and I can’t thank her enough. Amazing experience and great place.

Brides, save yourself 2 hours and do not go to Bridal and Formal for your gown. I went on a Saturday, with an appointment, and it was truly a nightmare. There are SO many other amazing boutiques in Cinci that will give you a personalized, private, special experience (Hyde Park Bridal & Lace were two of my favorites). I really can’t believe this place is so popular. I’ve been to 4 shops and this was by far the worst experience. From the moment I arrived, the vibe was NOT what you want to experience as a bride at a bridal shop. We arrived 15 minutes early and the doors were locked with 4-5 other brides waiting outside in hoards with their groups. A mad rush to get inside and so much chaos immediately. They boast about their huge selection of gowns, but they are so unorganized that’s is impossible to find anything, and many are in plastic bags, making it even more challenging. There were 5+ brides/guests walking around sifting through the gowns at all times. I walked around for 10 minutes and didn’t see a single gown that fit my vision - at other places, I’d have 5 gowns in my hands in 10 minutes. They put you in a huge room with 2+ other brides/groups. Horrible lighting. Loud. Impersonal. My consultant did her best, I guess, but not a single gown she brought for me fit my vision or what I described I wanted, at all. I ended up leaving an hour early to go back to a bridal shop that actually made me feel special and had better inventory (better, not more). If this had been my first appointment I probably would have left in tears. Thankfully, I knew there were better options out there for me because this wasn’t my first stop.

My experience at Bridal and Formal could not have been better! I went on a VERY busy Saturday and was worried that would make it harder to find a dress, but I was in and out of there in an hour with the dress of my DREAMS. Courtney B. was so helpful and fun to work with. She made the process so easy and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone searching for a dress. I didn’t want to take my dress off and I can’t wait for my wedding day!
