From YouTube videos alone I finally have control over my two great pyrenees. I'm walking them individually but will be taking them out together soon. I added the prong collar after watching how to fit and use it correctly. Also learning how to use my voice during training si it benefits them. I can see the confidence they have and the relief they don't have to protect me from everything. Thanks Tom Davis!

Love the Website and YouTube video from Tom Davis. I watch all the videos at least once. I have used the methods and stuff I learn to train my dogs. Love is methods and have found them to be extremely on key, do what he says, and it works. I would love to attend training classes in person, but not in the area. I want to order some apparel from the Website soon as well. Highly Recommended.

My pitbull is very aggressive towards other dogs when it comes to food. How can I break this habit? I have to feed her away from our other dogs or else she snaps.

Try a treat... But I'd call the Academy and get a trainer to come and visit your at home.

Thomas, thank you for videos and they're really helping me train my 4 month old lab. Question: the Pat Nolan book from Dogtra has all behavior taught first with collar only then the voice command is added. You say connect collar to your voice. Help!

Hi Michael, we find it best to teach the dog all of their commands verbally first. The e-collar should be added in after that. This way, the dog is fully focusing on learning the new tool, not learning a behavior/command, and what the stimulation means at the same time. It's hard to tell if they really understanding the collar if you do it the opposite way.

My gsd puppy is 5 months and he has gone upstairs but will not go down them. This has been one of many obstacles im faced with on a daily basis. He is also biting Hard on my arms, legs, and bruises me. Is this fear anxiety?

I want to also say I have had someone come to the house who was a professional trainer, but she couldn't get him to go down. She suggested stair treads but i got them right away and now its three weeks later, still im stuck carrying him back down. He is heavy and im doing all i can to get him to walk down! HE IS A SMART DOG! His puppy biting doesnt seem innocent anymore its also getting way to hard for me to endure! I called last night but the office was closed. I am in tears because ive tried all other techniques out there and i am so patient and loving with my puppy, not to mention all the money put into my puppy to give him the best but i don't know what im doing wrong. He is arfraid to even go in a car for rides with me! Any help is appreciated! I love my dog and am desperate to get help!
