Working with Mark was a wonderful experience. As new homeowners, my wife and I are not yet familiar with our home's system; nonetheless, he discussed the specifics of the necessary repairs that needed to be done as well as the impact that those repairs will have. He took the time to answer all of the concerns that I had, and he addressed the problems in a timely manner while doing it effectively. I am very pleased with the results of the service, and I would highly recommend Sump Pump Gurus to anyone searching the internet for a reliable company.

We had gotten in touch with this company from recommendations from my colleague. After that, we were prepared to begin working. We required the installation of a new sump pump. They are punctual, competent, and knowledgeable. I definitely suggest it! For all future sump pump requirements, we will keep using this company. Thanks for the continued good service, Sump Pump Gurus and his technicians. Keep up the fantastic work!

Prompt response to our Sump pump replacement. Nick and Alex came out on time and replaced our sump pump without any extra charge. They also checked our water heater and repaired it. Nick and Alex were extremely professional, polite and friendly. They also patiently answered all of our questions. The technicians and Sump Pump Gurus come highly recommended by me.

Your pump will make some noise, motor running, water whooshing, but any banging, clanging, grinding or excessive vibration are signs of a problem soon to come. A loud bang when the pump starts, could be something as simple as a bad check valve. If you have unusual noises coming from your pump, turn it off/unplug it and have a professional take a look.
Your sump pump can run continuously when there is rain, snow melt or if you have an underground spring or high water table. For the rain and snow melt, it should shut off when the pit is emptied, it should never run when dry. If you have a high water table, sometimes we need to adjust the pump to allow water to sit at its natural level. There is no sense trying to fight Mother Nature.
