My husband and I both rank this number 1 ahead of other top notch steakhouses such as Ruth's Chris. Excellent steaks cooked perfectly. Cutting into them tender and melts in your mouth like butter. I got filet mignon and he got delmonico. Sizes were perfect taste top notch. The grilled corn off the cob was excellent as was the garlic bread. The atmosphere was good and the service is always excellent. Whatever the special occasion this is the place to go. Or even without an occasion just in need of a nice meal its worth the drive and the money

1st time up at Mohegan Sun and @ The MJ Steakhouse. This restaurant started off by sitting us at one of the best tables as far as quiet, private and with the most fabulous staff. Some of the best staff I have dined with and we travel a lot! From the initial waitress to the sommelier who is very educated (always a great bottle of Darioush)to the extra servers going back and forth they knew when to approach and not be over bearing. Never rushed and full of politeness and smiles. Food, fabulous and some of the best steak we have had. Started with the octopus, wedge salad, then steaks and side of mashed potatoes (3 different types). We decided why not and hit the Key Lime Pie up which was also not a disappointment. The only thing I will state is that the food was a bit cooler than normal but it didn’t take away from the wonderful flavors of it all. Sorry for the darker photos but this is the lighting we were sitting in but again service, food, friendliness and all around an amazing establishment! Again staff FABULOUS and we asked directly to speak to the manager as they deserve the praise! Thank you for a great night

Ordered Ribeye steak for two, the steak was very dry and cold when served to us. It was not worth $130 for the steak. I don't think I'll ever go back honestly. When asked how everything was, the server became defensive and asked if I wanted to have her worm the steak up. I said to her " Wont that dry the steak more? Its already like eating dry bread. So with every bite I had to take a drink of water. I got it down and moved on. Thanks for the worst steak I ever had.

Hello Bill Bennet, Thank you for your email. The current culinary director is Abraham Silva. Kind Regards, Michale Jordan's Steakhouse Team
I would think dressing up is preferred ,However I've gone in in sweat pants after a few big hits in the slots when it was dead. The last time I went in was new years you had to have reservations it was a full house..I went in jeans with a plain dress shirt and holy boots and no one said a thing. I do have some back and leg issues so I'm glad they didnt laugh me out the door.and sometimes the most poor looking dirtbags like me tip the greatest. Lol
The restaurant is kinda located dead center, but the easiest & quickest is the winter garage located by the earth tower
