The 6th Precinct has been amazing!! Professional, compassionate, more than helpful in so many ways and always on point!!! Many of the officers in the 6th treat you as if you are family and always do for you what they would do for their own families 👪 ❤ 😊!!! They are truly amazing and very supportive of whatever you need, whether you are a victim, a person that is being apprehended or even just a concerned citizen. They will do anything to help with whatever it is that is going on and they follow up with you to make sure you are doing well 😊💯 SO HERE'S A HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO THE 6TH!!!! I was recently arrested and I can’t say enough about the compassion and professionalism shown by my arresting officers from the 6th. These men and women really don’t get the recognition they deserve. It was my first (and last) time being arrested and they walked me through the entire process every step of the way. A female officer helped me get dressed for the trip advising me that jail would be very cold at night, I wouldn’t be keeping my shoes and that I should brush and floss my teeth before leaving my home because I wouldn’t be able too in jail. I was very grateful for her genuine kindness. It was extremely cold and I was so glad I wore those layers! I was actually able to give away one of my sweatshirts to another very cold prisoner once I was in the Central Islip holding cell. The officers at the precinct were all consistently kind and thoughtful to me. They also work well with each other. My only complaint would be the bathroom- could really use a little Clorox in there? I felt my risk for hepatitis increase exponentially when I used the facilities. Just something to consider. Thank you 6th precent for everything you do for our community!! I’m so grateful to have had such a positive (and unexpected) experience with my arrest! Now I can cross getting arrested off the bucket list I never had! Thank You! Jessica Aboagye MSN, RN-BC

I work at Bonanno & Son Auto Collision and in my experience with obtaining accident reports is not a hard thing to do. If a Body Shop is involved with the repairs on your vehicle then they can get it a little faster then the person/person's involved in the accident. You can, however, call the pricenct where the accident happened and give them the accident report number and let them know you need a copy of the actual report and usually they will have a copy ready for you to pickup at the precinct. Typically takes 3-7 days for the report to be ready. Being I work with a Auto Body Shop, I usually can pick it up in 2-3 days after the accident. You may have to wait for 7 days to be able to get a copy. I know it is a year later I am responding and I apologize for the delay. Hopefully this will help you out in the future if need be. 🙏
ABSOLUTELY 💯!!! That is considered breaking and entering! Landlord's need to give notice and ask you for your permission! That's the Law!!
