I called and requested a quote for a steel staircase for a commercial building and was asked to email over the plans. When I hadn't heard back in a week, I followed up with a phone call and was told that the boss did not want to do the job. When I inquired further as to why, I was told that the boss was lazy and did not want to do it. Alex Iron and Metals was recommended to me by two different people and I was disappointed at the lack of follow-up and unprofessionalism in declining the job.

We do weld aluminum but the best thing to do is to bring it by the shop so we can look at it and give you a forsure yes or no. We are open from 8am to 5 PM mon. Thru fri. I apologize I wasnt here yesterday when you stop by. We are normally closed on Saturday but I will be in the shop for awhile this morning if you would like to come back out just let me know a time and I will make sure to be here thanks and enjoy the day.
