I went there yesterday. First of all, The front desk Male staff who was sitting at the second desk in charge of scanning QR code was extremely rude and disrespectful, just because I didn’t download the BDC app, he showed face and eye expressions that make people feel really uncomfortable, make me waited an extended time to check me in. I should have asked his name, super unprofessional. Honestly, you got to do something about this. I have see multiple other reviews saying that the front desk people is rude. I guess they are referring to the same person. Can’t you just train some if you staff to treat people normally? not even to mention friendly and welcoming. Also, the beginner class is like for people who have 3-5 years of experience. I went ti Debbie Wilson’s beginner commercial Jazz class. During warm up, the teacher would blame you if you don’t know a ballet terms “Passé”, and honestly I know that, I didn’t bring the foot high enough to the knee is just because I need to stay balance. She just makes you feel so bad if she thinks you are not at the correct level. Besides, during choreo, the teacher wasn’t prepared well enough about the counts, need to hear the music a couple times in the middle of teaching to figure out the count. That’s not a big of the problem. But the way she makes you feel dumb that you did certain things wrong is really not okay.

Hello... you can buy a class pass that costs $22USD or you can buy a package of classes, it depends how many classes in the package you want to know the price....but yes, you can take classes... only you have to pay for the classes...if you are in NYC, you can stop by to see the classes too.
On the official page you can find the classes and schedules and you can even pay for your place online
Most choreographers/teachers already have a set song list but if you become close with them/become a class regular they may be open to suggestions
Prices and class schedules are available on the Broadway dance center website.

Hi! Congratulations for your daughter! That's wonderful! Nope, nothing you need to do prior. Just come and have a great time! And if she wants to do hiphop I teach Tuesday at 4:30pm and Fridays at 10:30am!
Hi. You will have to speak with the people at the front desk there. They can give you the answer.
Hello! The best long-term option for our international dancers is our International Student Visa Program (ISVP). http://www.broadwaydancecenter.com/training/international-student-visa-program-isvp-italian The best short-term option would be our drop-in lessons. http://www.broadwaydancecenter.com/drop-in http://www.broadwaydancecenter.com/schedule Sincerely, Elisabetta
Hello! Drop-in classes are 13+, however many teachers will allow dancers ages 10+. Just ask the front desk if the class you're interested in will allow 10+ when you sign into class and they'll let you know if the teacher approves! Visit the following website to view all Children & Teen offerings: http://www.broadwaydancecenter.com/children-teens/about-children-teens All the best, Lizzie
Drop in classes are $22 per class. They also have class packages where you pay one price for a certain number of classes.
Hello! Thank you for your interest! Unfortunately Broadway Dance Center is unable to offer loans. All the best, Lizzie

Thanks for your question! We unfortunately do not rent out studio space for outside classes. All the best, Lizzie
There are many people who come from other countries who speak Spanish. The last time my daughter was there, there was a large group of Argentines. I believe that since it is a place that is designed to receive tourists from all over the world, there must be teachers of different nationalities. Anyway, in NYC the second language is Spanish (although nobody wants to recognize it), so if you are going to be able to communicate.
There is a summer program, and you pay per week of classes. The Broadway Dance Center for children and teens is on 37W 65St. NYC, 20023. Classes go from July to the end if August.
If the adolescents are over 16 years old, they can take classes with the adults. There are about 350 classes. Go to the website and register your children. When we are in NYC, my daughter sees the calendar and is enrolled in one or two classes per day.
Yes, all the classes have big glass window, so you can observe the classes.
They have like 30 classes a day at all levels. I will say yes.
