Do not bring your elderly here!! Very unprofessional, they leave people in there own feces and when patients ask to be changed nurses give attitudes. The head nurse wanted to kick me out because I got upset that they left my mother's pee pan on her eating table for 4 hours and may I remind you she cannot walk! ((which I recorded the whole incident)) One nurse even took my mother's pee pan after she was done peeing, dumped it into the trash next to her then cleaned the pan and put it back on her eating table 😡 I have this poor lady on video crying that they leave her in her feces for hours everyday and call her crazy when she wants to be changed, They tell her she shouldn't drink so much water! (unbelievable!) The cleaners do not even Do their jobs correctly! They use dirty stinky mops to clean the floors, there's dust all over the windows, they don't disinfect the rooms! which is extremely sad because three nurses recently brought covid-19 to their workplace gave it to TWO patiences at Cobble Hill Health Center SO if that place is not clean correctly the virus will spread throughout the whole nursing home, but they don't care because they're are milking the everyone's insurance that's a patient at COBBLE HILL HEALTH CENTER! Oh and just to top it off they bill your insurance every time you visit your loved one because you are mandatory to take a COVID-19 test.

I find many of the negative reviews unfair. I was able to set up a family meeting re: my dad with the unit nurse, MD in charge of care plan, administrator, and social worker present in a reasonable timeframe. They followed through with my requested accommodations and I saw a noticeable difference when I followed up on prior concerns. He has settled into a normal routine thanks to the compassion and patience of the nursing staff. I think it's easy for people to forget what a nightmare COVID was and is- and out of fear, love, and possibly guilt when it comes to their loved ones, placing the blame on a third party is easiest to swallow. A big thank you to staff for caring. It is a thankless job and yet you always do what's best for your residents. It doesn't go unappreciated.
