Prior to our arrival, the hotel staff was accommodating in assisting me with a special request. John helped us get checkin and was very friendly and attentive. When looking for recommendations for activities and restaurants, he was very knowledgeable and even provided us with several pamphlets of information. The room was very nice and clean. The grounds were quaint and well kept. All of the staff was very friendly! We would absolutely recommend this hotel!!!

Hotel rooms are very large and well maintained. Did not try the food area but looked nice with a lot of people. Beach area was very very small and rocky. Ladder to climb out of water onto dock is very bad. Staff is friendly.

Wish there was 3.5 star, but pushing it up to 4-star because of location, access to the trail, size of rooms, and overall cleanliness of the rooms. The dock and small beach made it cozy and fun. The fare from the shack was great, but breakfast was on the basic side, with limited options and seemed not to be open one day. Parking was also tricky, filling up and hard to find spaces. There was also one day they never came back to clean the room, and some fresh towels would have been nice, but probably because we were in the room on the 1st pass (it was raining). Overall, would stay here again.

We stayed one night and it was great. The rooms were very clean, well decorated and spacious. The staff was kind and helpful and the location was great. We had lunch at the Smack Shack (delicious) and drinks at the Common’s tasting room in the evening (great cheese plate). I look forward to returning and spending some time at one of their fire-pits.
