I had been here once & gotten on their email list . Glad I did because during the pandemic I’ve been fortunate enough to attend a few events on zoom . Really good stimulating conversations moderated well by respected members . This past week we were thrilled to be able to attend a live play performance . Excellent acting and the group discussion that followed was very thought provoking . Looking forward to more ethical nyc happenings . Another nice touch is the building is fully wheelchair accessible from a ramp out front as well as an elevator .

One of the best places for live music in New York City.

Intimate venue with an old church decor. Great place to see a show!

Attended a thoughtfully stacked climate event focused on female leadership, where a mix of in person and digital guests joined to speak. To be honest the seats were not that comfortable (I was stuck in an asile seat) and wearing a mask inside has been an ongoing issue of comfort… I walked in late so I generally didn’t get to explore the space as much as I would have liked. View was generally good from middle section, back row of floor seats but I couldn’t tell how loud of sound I was making when I went into the entry way up/down the center stairs… up to the seating level (main floor in front of stage area) Microphones on some guests were harder to hear but this was more of an issue with the speaker wearing the mic than the acoustic environment itself. Decent lighting but would prefer to talk more to people near me (rather than listen to featured speaker after speaker) in this sort of setting rather than it feeling like the unreached/small talk sort of vibe you get from sitting in a church and having to turn to the person next, in front of, but rarely behind to you… Overall I wonder which other kinds of events they hold here and if i’ll make it back someday.

I thot it would be 2 hrs. It was an hour and 40 mins
Yes only fully vaccinated can enter
We were just seated on the right pew. Our concert was not full so we had plenty of extra empty space.
The Empire Hotel is very close, it's on 63rd st between Broadway & Columbus Ave.
No dress code. No food.
As far as I know there's a ramp for handicapped people at the entrance, there's an elevator inside, hopefully this is helpful.
Okay thankyou. Is the elevator inside to the concert hall for all types of wheelchairs . Thankyou
Street parking is difficult but possible
