I understand short staffed but when all the people who came in after you get their food first something is wrong. The waitress was very apologetic, she checjed in the kitchen and another 15 mintues we got our food and she gave a free dessert.

Terrible! We walked in and the hostess was completely rude. We sat down and waited 10 minutes for the waitress to show up. She took our orders and an hour later our food came. The entire time we were waiting we never got our drinks refilled or checked on. Our food was dry, bland, and cold.like it was left out the entire time. When we got our food there were things wrong with order. Nobody ever came back for us even though wait staff was standing around talking and laughing. After waiting another hour for our check still nobody came. Hell no to going back!

The only reason I’m giving this a 4 and not 5 star is because as many other reviews have stated it is slow! We had to wait 40 minutes - maybe why it’s called West Forty.. ha. I ordered the Rueben. I wanted to order breakfast since reading all the great reviews but breakfast is over at 11am and we got here at 11:10 am. The food is great. Large portions! My husband had the Philly steak. If you’re not in a huge hurry it is worth the wait! The decor is interesting as well. Glad we came.
