How is self-employed person supposed to survive on $40 a day? For a grand jury. Ridiculous. Open temporary sites and call in 300 people instead of 100.

Jury duty is turning out to be a terrible experience. Unpleasant court employees and the wifi is broken.

I just experienced one of the awfullest customer service by a representative call David. I was asking about the questionnaire I received and he hung up on me immediately. That is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.

You go to the offices on the 1st floor and get a deferment.
Yes. You are allowed to be on your devices when you are waiting but it is advisable to have head/ear phones, to not distract others.
Usually about 3-4 business days. But if you're working, and yiur company has more than 10 people on payroll, your job has to pay you for your time, legally.
Depends on what you're doing. If you get assigned to a jury, you'll be dismissed after that whenever that was. If you spend the day and don't get assigned a jury, probably around 4pm. If you're talking about while serving on a jury, I could not tell you, it's all different.
You can postpone it if its your first time. Six months later. You can also show up and have some proof that you have a child and no one else available. You can make your case and get dismissed. I never dine it but i saw alot of people stand up and go to a room after they were ask if they had a good reason to not be able to be a jury
