Diane, Herman, Jacqueline, Valerie - the Genesis management is so professional and compassionate. I had a loved one with an addiction problem and they took the time to extensively discuss treatment and aftercare options. Simply the best at what they say they do here!

Stay away from this place!!! The admissions lady who has a russian accent is very unprofessional and rude over the phone during the phone screening! My father was referred to this program by the court and they refused him twice! The first time he was too sober to be admitted! Which I find insane! The second time they said they don't have spanish speaking therapists which clearly they do! They referred my father to another program without informing me! This place is pathetic and that's me judging by the way they acted over the phone!!! Very rude and unprofessional staff, It appears that they don't want to be bothered by potiential clients and refer them to other programs to wash their hands! Stay away from places like this! Not cordial and professional at all. BTW!! Even the driver is rude over the phone as well

My daughter came in healthy got infected with COVID while in their custody. She was supposed to stay for 7 days. They gave her last dose on day 5 at 2 pm and told her she has to leave without even keeping her for 1 day observation. She came in healthy but addicted to benzos and left sick with Covid and still addicted. Upon discharge they returned empty bottles of her meds but kept all the Suboxone she brought with her. Do not send your loved once here. They will leave if not in worse condition then definitely in the same they came in with

So I will say some of the staff really does care but here is my issue i went to detox to get off what I was on so when I got down to minimal of suboxone I decide I'll just deal with the withdrawls and was told I can't stay if I don't take it that makes absolutely no sense im still detoxing just don't want to feel the withdrawls and take a piece that is doing nothing for me also they really need to keep men and women not on the same section I had someone continuesly bother me and was stuck still around him not cool

No at this time we do not. We will open one in the near future
We use Librium or Valium for Alcohol detox, Ativan for Benzodiazepine detox and Methadone or Suboxone for Opioid detox. We also have comfort medications to treat other withdrawal symptoms. We will also start someone on Suboxone if they choose to continue utilizing addiction medication with a referral to another provider. We can start Naltrexone or Campral for those who are dependent on Alcohol. We do not give Vivitrol injections but will refer a person to a provider who does. If any other information is needed please contact us and be safe. Thank you for reaching out.
We accept most commercial insurances (waiting for contracts from UHC, Oxford, Oscar) All NY State of Health Plans, Managed Medicaid, Medicaid with Medicare, Medicaid and Self Pay.
Yes We are open both Saturday and Sunday, we take admissions from 8:30AM to 1:00PM. Call first for bed availability.
Hi there is no medical detox for Methamphetamines. We do not have rehab treatment at this time. I would call directly to a rehab. Depending on your insurance I would suggest Long Island Center for Recovery, Seafield (both on LI), Arms Acres or Conifer Park (upstate NY) White Deer Run (PA) If you have commercial ins through family or employment call your insurance and see who is in Network to pay lesser co-pay. Stay Safe!

Not sure who your friend is at this writing and I cannot speak about a specific patient without a consent from the patient. I can give you estimations: Opiates 4-6 days, alcohol 4-7 days and benzodiazepines 5-8 days. The length of stay depends on how much and how long a substance has been used.
