Ridgehill westmed is going down the drain. Besides not being able to understand them they are not the nicest. They still don’t have a Jan 2033 calendar. Called four times and told the same thing try next week. Very disappointed in their service. May have to go back to Waters Place in the Bronx. No difference any more.

Staff is so sweat , the nurses and doctors are very professional and down to earth . The Management team is amazing ,friendly and there always on the floor to help ..thank you westmed

This is not the best in standard medical care, I think. I need to get my blood pressure checked periodically but they are always too busy. That's all I needed - no medical appt. 3 minutes. However, last time they wanted to charge me co-pay of $70 for urgent care, as my primary doctor's staff was too busy again. I also had a foot issue with the sole of my foot so saw orthopedist. I needed an MD not a podiatrist because it was a bone issue. Specialty co-pay of $40. At appointment this orthopedist told me, "sorry I don't do feet" (yes that is a quote). I got co-pay money back from insurance but it took a while. How outrageous -- and this was an older doctor, not a medical intern. Also, here on the website I saw some comments about call center: Call center is not at facility so it's not 100% sure you will get your message or request through to doctor; often you have to call a second time to follow up -- and some of the call center agents who answer the phone are not fluent in English (hard to believe but yes. . .). So, this is not the best medical group around. I like my primary doctor, the labs and radiology are excellent and I like my dermatologist (good luck getting an appointment!), but suggest to go to another group for best medical care if you have a serious condition. Actually the walk-in urgent care centers in many towns (like City MD) are wonderful so I would recommend them if you really need a doctor for an immediate issue.

AVOID Jordan Golubcow-Teglasi, MD. at all costs! Went for a sonogram to see if a lump was cancerous. Was told I'd get the results in 24 hours. Over two weeks later and I can't get through to Dr. Teglasi and can't access the records or the radiology report. Been leaving messages with her call center everyday (somewhere in India) and not a single call back. The westmed "patient portal" does not work (says the westmed provider is not signed up for the westmed patient portal!!), and you can't get anyone at Westmed. Even the radiology department just sends you back to their voicemail loop. Now have to go find a real doctor and have a sonogram taken again, and fight with insurance who do not want to pay for it again. Wish I didn't go here. This happened before with Westmed. The doctors send you for tests, and then you never hear back from them. Same thing with the blood work. The bill goes out quick...and no one ever tells you the results. They just like to bill insurance.
